What We Provide
CT Notary is license by Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of State. Notarization is by appointment only to ensure privacy during notarization as well as accommodating a time that works for you.
Oath or Affirmation
Verification on oath or affirmation is a voluntary, written, sworn statement signed by individual taking oath or affirmation with the presence of notary.
Witnessing or Attesting a signature
A witness is a neutral third party who has first-hand knowledge of an event. If there is ever a dispute about the event, the witness can be called upon to state that he or she was present and testify as to what happened.
Acknowledgement
Acknowledgement is a method of authenticating an individual's signature on a record. The individual appears in person to declare that he or she did, in fact, sign the record, and knew what he or she was doing at the time of signing.
Certified Copies
A certified or attested copy of a record is a reproduction of an original record, with a notary's certification that the reproduction is a complete and accurate copy of the original.
Protest
When protest are preformed by notaries, it is at the request of bank or other financial institution. When a negotiable instrument such as a check is presented for payment and payment is denied, the instrument is said to be dishonored. A protest, also called a certificate of dishonor, is a notary's written statement that, upon presentment, a negotiable instrument was neither paid or accepted.

NOTARIZATION PROCEDURES AND REGULATIONS
Requirements
In order to notarize documents, those who's signatures are used need to appear in person before notary. Have a valid ID not expired and in English language.
Acceptable identification for ID:
US passport or passport card
Driver's license or government-issued non-driver identification card
Identification card issued by any branch of the US armed forces
Pennsylvania state and state-related university identification card
Refusing Service
RULONA gives the authority to refuse to perform a notary act.
Items that CAN NOT be made certified copy by notary are:
Birth Certificate
Death Certificate
Naturalization Certificate
Government-issued document imprinted with " do not copy ", " illegal to copy ", or similar wording
Notary Public
Notary Public is NOT an attorney licensed to practice law in this Commonwealth. Are NOT allowed to draft legal records, give advice on legal matters, including immigration, or charge a fee for those activities.
